The Email Action Configuration Utility is used to set the SMTP configuration. This allows the software to send emails for configured alarm actions.
The Email Action Configuration Utility is located under Start> Programs > WebBrix > Email Action Configuration. (see figure Email Action Configuration)
Email Action Configuration
There are several SMTP options:
| • | Sender’s Email Address: The appropriate email address of the sender. |
| • | Display Name: The name the user wants to appear for the email. |
| • | Outgoing Mail (SMTP): The name or ip address of the desired SMTP server. |
| • | Outgoing Mail Port (default 25): The outgoing mail port. |
| • | My Server requires authentication: Check this box if your server requires authentication. Checking this box will expose the Account Name and Password selection boxes. Enter Account Name and Password and click Save. (see figure Server Authentication) |
