HID VertX Hardware

Welcome to the AMT's VertX Hardware Users Guide.

This guide provides procedural and reference information for HID's VertX hardware.  To get the most out of this documentation, you should be familiar with:

•        Normal application usage (Outlook, Word, etc...)

•        The Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server environments

•        General Visual Basic and SQL concepts and usage

•        The concepts of access control and building automation

Before programming and administering the VertX-based system, please read this guide completely in order to avoid clerical and system configuration errors.
